Urban Decay B6 Vitamin-Infused Complexion Prep Spray

Hi guys, recently I’ve noticed that I was suffering from dull skin. I find this happens to me throughout the winter months. As you all know I already have a great skin care routine and try to take care of my face the best of my ability. This is why I recently hit a brick wall with trying to fix my dull and lifeless skin. Again as most of you are probably aware, I absolutely love Urban Decay products and am always showing you their best products. Why not check out my previous review such as Urban Decay VICE 4 Eyeshadow palette?

I’ve spent an OK amount of time searching through numerous different skin care brands to try and fix my troubled skin. Eventually, I came across Urban Decay B6 Vitamin-Infused Complexion Prep Spray. This face mist is supposed to reduce redness, minimise pores and absorbs oil. I don’t have issues with pores, but with the spray containing Vitamin E and Willow Bark (*rich in natural salicylic acid), I thought that I would have nothing to loose, so gave it a go. The spay’s directions say that you can use it anytime and the lightweight packaging makes it easy to carry around with you. I completely agree. I have been using this spray daily. The packaging is lightweight. It makes it easy to carry with you in a handbag and very useful for make-up artists, who need to carry an enormous amount of heavy products in their cases!

how to use a complexion spray

How do I use the Urban Decay B6 Vitamin-Infused Complexion Prep Spray?

I first use this product when performing my daily face cleansing routine. I clean and moisturise my face.

I leave the moisturiser to soak into my skin for around 10 minutes.

Then I apply the Urban Decay B6 Vitamin-Infused Complexion Prep Spray

The treatment drys almost instantly allowing me to quickly move into applying my make-up

Once my foundation, powders, blusher and highlighter are applied, I then take the spray and apply it one last time. This reduces the powder look effect leaving your make-up looking seamless. The mist is extremely fine and evenly spread. Therefore will not ruin your makeup.

I would then use my En Taupe eye set  to apply my eye make-up and finish my look.

I feel that B6 Vitamin-Infused Complexion Prep Spray is a luxury product and therefore can be a little on a pricey side. It comes in at £22.00 for an 118ml bottle. If you are on a smaller budget but did want to treat yourself, why not keeping this spray for a special occasion where you want to look flawless. I do feel that this product is worth the money. However, I understand times can be tough and not everyone can afford an item such as this.

Here are a couple of ways you can have a similar desired effect for cheaper

Eau Thermal, Avene, Thermal Spring Water – I tried this product and have it on my desk at all times. It’s great for moisturising your skin and if you are on a small budget. It doesn’t have vitamins in it, but still a good product to try, especially in winter.

If you have no budget, why not try making your own face mist. Buy a bottle of spring water and add a couple of slices of cucumber in it. Leave a mix for around twenty minutes, so that all the nutrients release into the water. Put the solution into a spray bottle and away you go with your very own hydrating face spray.

Overall, I found that Urban Decay B6 Vitamin-Infused Complexion Prep spray really has been a blessing for my dull skin and I would highly recommend all of you to try it. I have found that using a face spray such as this one has helped make my skin look glowing and fresher.

I’ve been reading great reviews on the Urban Decay setting spray lately, which has caused me to consider getting it, but after reading this review, I just may want to try this one because it seems like it would be beneficial to my skin. I have oily skin with larger pores, so it’s also acne prone, this may be my best bet out of the two. Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Thank you for sharing this! I’m actually on a hunt for a new prep spray. My old one was from Nature Republic, a Korean brand. It was great but I don’t like using the same product over and over again. I feel like I’m getting allergic to it eventually. So I try to use different brands once in a while.
