Hello everyone, today on How to style I am going to be sharing my thoughts on the matching a red co-ord suit. There are many different styles of two-piece outfits currently on the market. There is a daytime co-ordinated suits such as trousers and crop tops or shorts and bandeau and evening two-pieces that have been designed to look sleek and sexy no matter what the occasion is.Matching top and bottoms is an extremely hot fashion trend when it comes to a spring summer 2016 style trends. Co-ordinated suits are very easy and stylish solutions for when you have no idea what you are going to wear today. By wearing same in design and colour bottoms and a top you already are guaranteed to look stylish. Because simple is great! The only thing you have to think about is your shoes and a bag if you need to carry things around.

How do I style a red co-ord suit?

This particular two-piece set in my images is a red lace co-ord suit that can be worn to a date, in the evening and even to a business meeting! Style Tip: wear red to a business meeting. Physiologists say that red helps you to come across as a confident and successful person. This particular twin set has been sitting in my wardrobe for a while. Even though I love red and glamorous clothing, I wasn’t quite sure about how I can style lace and red in one outfit without looking overboard.

Whatever I wear I always try to look elegant and put together. I’m impressed by girls who can mix and match all sorts of patterns and textures in one outfit effortlessly, but I don’t think I’m yet one of this extremely brave girls. That’s why I was looking for a way to ‘calm down’ this particular set. As the body of this look is bright and bold I wanted to keep the shoe simple and elegant. I couldn’t find a better way than wearing nude sandals that are the same shade as my skin. This way I’m wearing something, but don’t drive any extra attention to this particular part of my outfit.

This red top is designed to be worn loosely, but I prefer to underline my waist, so I added a belt to this outfit. Belts are ideal for cinching in your waist and this small belt is perfect for doing just that. I know I added a little more glitz and glamour to this look by wearing a small gold belt. But I haven’t got a nude one which I would recommend to wear with this particular red co-ord suit!

I also felt that this small fluffy white purse complimented the look extremely well.

Why did I style this red co-ord suit this way?

Two-piece outfits are fabulous due to the fact that you can either style the two-piece together or you can mix and match it with another item you have in your wardrobe. You always have some options: wearing top separately, wearing bottoms separately or a suit as it is. Perfect for having more than one look! For this look, I decided to pair top and skirt together as I wanted a to show you how to wear red and lace in one outfit without looking too much. By choosing the right accessories I hope I achieved such look.

What other two-piece sets are currently on the market?

There are many different co-ord sets on the market right now starting from pyjama style sets to a lightweight romantic girly options. For example, a sportswear is very popular at the moment. I would recommend to just get one co-ordinated set of your preference and have it in your wardrobe because co-ord suits will be IN for a long time and it will be a good versatile addition to your collection.
