Mesmerizing Mineral Palette by Pixi

Mesmerizing Mineral Palette by Pixi

Hi guys, this week I will be reviewing two of Pixi’s Mesmerizing Mineral Palette. I hope you are enjoying all the insight I’m giving you on so many new products! These both palettes are 0.20 oz and have six different shades to choose from. The first pallet I am going to be showing you is called Amethyst Aura which has rose, indigo, and vibrant violet shades in it. When I first saw this palette I was immediately drawn to the different mix of purple tones. I know that both purple and yellow pigmented eyeshadows are the most tricky to blend. So I was a little wary about picking this particular palette.

Pixi by Petra's Amethyst Aura Mesmerising Mineral Palette

After trying all the shades out and trying to blend them all, I realised just how good Pixi by Petra’s Amethyst Aura Mesmerising Mineral Palette was for the price. Four of the shadows in the palette have a shimmery pigmentation, which made them easier to blend together. The matte shadows are slightly more difficult to blend and have a less colour pay off. However, they do give a pop of colour to your eyes, you just need to work them a little more. The lightest shade in the palette may be used as a highlighter as well.

Pixi by Petra Mesmerizing Mineral Palette Aquamarine Dream

The second palette is called Aquamarine Dream with aqua, turquoise, and sapphire shades in it. This palette is my favourite of the two. Simply for how bold and bright the colours translate onto your eyes. As some of you may be aware, the 90s is coming back this season with a zig-a-zig-ah (*please forgive the Spice Girls quote). All the rage in the 90s’ were brightly coloured eye shadow and make-up. Especially blue! Now I’m not saying that everyone can pull off blue shades. However, this particular palette is great for applying both high impact colours and subtle undertones. Making your eyes pop with just a hint of the aqua colour.

One of the main reasons I love Pixi by Petra so much is that the packaging is always sleek and well made. The design is simple whilst still being pretty. All eye shadow palettes come with dual ended eye shadow sponges, so that you can have fabulous eyes wherever you are! They won’t give you the result you can achieve with the brush, but I think they are very useful for traveling or when you need to fix your make-up during the day.

Both of these palettes are really pretty! I’m all for purple anything so that would be my pick of the two but I also like a nice blue shade. I think most colors ca work for anyone as long as you find the right shade that suits your skin tone.
