NARS The Exposed Palette Review

The NARS Cosmetics Exposed Cheek Palette is a limited edition collection of ultra-versatile cheek colours designed to suit all skin tones.

The limited edition, universally flattering palette combines six blush shades to accentuate your features. From luminous neutrals to shocking brights, each colour is formulated using the brand’s Color Clarity Complex, an innovative blend of pure pigments that delivers a vibrant colour payoff. The weightless cheek powders apply and blend seamlessly, delivering sheer-to-buildable coverage to enhance the look of your complexion. Can be applied wet or dry depending on desired intensity. the collection includes all new shades that you can’t find in other NARS products. Wow, I love when brands are creating new shades rather than just keep repackaging their best sellers!

Nars Exposed Cheek Palette SHADES

  • TELL ALL (pearlescent golden pink)
  • NOW OR NEVER (satin terracotta)
  • GIVE IT AWAY (satin nude)
  • MAKE YOU MINE (satin peach)
  • COME HITHER (satin watermelon)
  • NEW FLING (satin fuchsia)

HOW TO APPLY The Exposed CHEEK Palette

Apply shades individually, or blend them together for a multidimensional glow. Swirl a cheek brush over your chosen shade. Dab onto the apples of the cheeks, then swirl in a circular motion, layering to your desired intensity. To customise colour, layer shades separately and experiment with placement. For a watercolour effect, mist your brush with water before applying colour.

I especially loved using the TELL ALL & NEW FLING. The TELL ALL is a wonderful soft highlighting shade and the NEW FLING is a perfect fuchsia shade to go with the berry shades of lipstick that I absolutely love wearing in spring.

NARS Lip Duo Review Shade: Dragon Girl

Not too glossy, definitely not sticky, and leaves behind a super-pigmented, yet wearable colour. I literally went back and bought the kit twice just for the stain. I’ve been wearing it for the past few days. I’M IN LOVE with the Dragon Girl duo!!!! Colour or is beautiful. I can layer it with the gloss (which isn’t sticky) or by itself. I’m going to have to stock up on this since it’s a limited edition.

NARS Lip Duo Review Shade: Sex Machine

I really like lipgloss from the Sex Machine duo. It’s a beautiful soft mauve which can lighten my darker pencils and lipsticks and make them look more spring-like. Not as enthusiastic about the colour of the pencil but am still glad I have them both. would be great is NARS made the gloss permanent.

How to Apply NARS Exposed Lip Duo

  • Line and fill in lips with Velvet Matte Lip Pencil of your choice:
  • INTRIGUING for a soft pink nude
  • SEX MACHINE for a pink mauve
  • DRAGON GIRL for an eye-catching red
  • Layer complementary Lip Tint over the centre of the lip to add dimensional shine.
  • For a gradient lip, begin with an application of Lip Tint all over, then apply Velvet Matte Lip Pencil to the centre of the lip. Blend colour out for an edgeless, ombré effect.
