Top 5 Luxury Makeup Products
Chanel Loose Powder Foundation with Mini Kabuki Brush
This is my first loose powder foundation and I should say I made the right decision. It’s been a long time I had been looking for powder foundation. I’d watched many youtube videos and read a bunch of reviews online before I decided that I want to buy this particular one. In September my boyfriend and I went to Tenerife for a week. I knew I was going to find a good discount there, because they always have decent offers on make-up, sunglasses, fragrances etc. And I did! – I bought this foundation at a price of £22 instead of £55. Which is a good bargain we all should agree. I was extremely happy as you can imagine! The texture of the powder is very soft and silky. This powder foundation is suitable for a natural second-skin result with no hint of thickness and an amazingly even and smooth skin texture. I would also like to mention that Chanel loose powder have an SPF 15 protection. I wouldn’t 100% recommend Chanel Loose Powder Foundation, if you are looking for a very full coverage or if you have a very dry complexion. But, I can totally recommend it to anyone who is looking for a lightweight, matt and even coverage; have normal, combination or oily skin.
Bobbi Brown Bronze Eye Palette
This palette is my everything. Not only the packaging is slick and glamorous, but the eye shadows formula is fantastic as well. Bobbi Brown bronze eyes palette includes Gold sparkle eye shadow, Amber shimmer eye shadow, Toast eye shadow and Rich Bronze metallic eye shadow. I think that this palette may be a good investment for everybody looking for a versatile eye shadow palette. You can use it for your nude every day make-up as well as evening make-up or smoky eyes. I believe that the selection of these eye shadows colours would mostly benefit girls with a warm-toned complexion and eye colours. Unfortunately, Bobbi Brown Bronze Eye Palette is not available anymore, but there is one very similar to it. It’s called Bellini Mini Lip and Eye Palette. For those who want cold undertones, I’d recommend to try Greystone Eye Palette.
Dior Diorskin Star Concealer
Concealer! I think many of us struggle to find a good one. The one, which would eradicate dark circles and open the eyes. Dior Diorskin Star Concealer does it to me. It erases the signs of fatigue and gives me dazzling eyes. When choosing an eye concealer, I go for a lighter shades then for a foundation. It helps to brighten the under eye area, defines your face’s features. Use concealer in the crease of the dark circles and at the outer corner of the eye. Then gently tap with the fingertips and draw the texture out to the exterior. Tip: use concealer on top of your Cupid’s bow, tip of your nose and in the centre of the forehead to bring more 3D sculpture to your beautiful face!
Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow
O-oooo, I’m sure many of you have already heard about this sculpting and highlighting palette. I like it for many reasons and they are all important to me. I love the presentation – gold luxurious case with a big mirror inside – very useful, if you like to travel or take make-up with you during the day. The formula of both products – sculpting and highlighting powders – is very soft and silky. It’s easy to apply and blend. I noticed that I use only tiny little bit for my face for one make-up application. Therefore, I think it will last me forever! The undertone of the sculpting powder is neutral with a little bit of purple and rose/pinky glitter. This is perfect for an every-day make-up. It won’t make your skin look orange, but also won’t make your skin look grey. *For the ones who tried, did you notice this cute signature star in the right corner of the mirror? I can’t help myself, loving this Filmstar Bronze&Glow palette! *Tip: go to Charlotte Tilbury Youtube channel to find out how to use her products correctly and make the most of them. I enjoy these videos and find them useful.
Tom Ford Eye Defining Pen
Often I complete my make-up look using this innovative, dual-ended liquid liner. Thanks to its blackest-of-black formula, it delivers ultimate precision and makes fluid strokes easy to achieve. Featuring a fine calligraphy top on one end and a brush on the other, it creates a spectrum of transforming effects – from classic, sleek lines to dramatic wing tips or a sultry doe eye. Girls, honestly, I know this eye liner costs ridiculous money, but it gives you the most defined blackest ever line, it’s very easy to use and achieve a neat line. I have it for more than a year, I use it 3-4 times a week. It’s still fresh, didn’t dry, brush didn’t flare. Worth every penny, it’s fantastic, I love it!
