The Best Affordable Statement Earrings That Look Expensive

The-Best-Affordable-Earrings-That-Look-Expensive

When it comes to accessories, I must admit that I have a strong obsession with statement earrings. Bold earrings are one of the ‘hottest’ spring 2017 accessory trends. Not a surprise – earrings can turn your simple look into chic and trendy within a couple of seconds. When creating stylish outfits, I need them all. Statement earrings are in the midst of a major comeback.

Statement Earrings Trend

The size of favoured runway earrings has been growing steadily over the past few seasons. Raf Simons started it in 2013, adorning his Dior women with a solo hanger. For fall 2016 stylists followed the style, holding on to one of the earrings from a pair and sending models down the catwalk wearing only a single statement-maker.

Finally, designers like J.W. Anderson, Oscar de la Renta, Proenza Schouler, Tibi and Delpozo, to name a few, have shown the best statement earrings during the Spring/Summer 17 catwalks. This spring, think sculptural styles and solo danglers. No more glitzy chandeliers from the past seasons.

Affordable Earrings That Look Expensive

While it’s a lovely touch to any outfit, it might also be expensive at times. We usually have the choice between expensive luxurious pieces of high quality or more affordable, but really fragile, earrings. Having tried and researched a few high street brands myself, I thought it was the time to share a number of really good picks that won’t break after two hours of wearing them. Moreover, they are on a cheap side which is always a plus. Have fun!

MATCHES FASHION

Autumn’s beautiful foliage colours offer brilliant inspiration to jewellery, and burnt oranges, reds and greens and yellows are so in. Coupled with oversized and bold shapes, this is what jewellery statement is all about. The autumn 2019 jewellery trends include:

GEOMETRIC SHAPES OF A COSTUME OR WHITE GOLD AND SILVER JEWELLERY

Silver jewellery is the preferable fine jewellery this autumn as well. It does look beautiful, particularly when combined with crystals and gems in all sorts of colours and sizes. And even worn with yellow gold ornaments, silver jewellery is a statement on its own. Also, pearls are back! Maybe not in an old-fashioned way as our aunties and grannies used to wear them, but now interspersed with chain, gold or silver, and gemstones, of course. READ FULL ARTICLE HERE: AUTUMN 2019 JEWELLERY TRENDS.
