Today I am going to be reviewing Stay Don’t Stray – one of the Benefit’s most iconic eye primers to have been brought onto the market! I’m a big fan of eye primers. Being obsessed with a perfect makeup, I always look for something that could prolong my eyeshadow’s wear during the day, even up skin texture, stop my eyeshadow from creasing and also make the eyeshadow colour pop! So…
What is Stay Don’t Stray?
This primer helps to maintain that look of fresh eyeshadow during the day. It’s designed to stay in place and look flawless. It comes in a long tube with a lid that turns into an applicator. It has the classic Benefit’s vintage packaging with a hand-drawn image of an eyelid. The colours of the tube are cream and black – it will look super stylish amongst all your other wonderful beauty products!
What do I like about Stay Don’t Stray?
There are many reasons why I love this product! The first one being that it really does do what it says on the package. Every time I use this product I notice a dramatic improvement in the way that my eyeshadows stay on my lids during the day (*or night!). Very opaque formula makes your eyeshadow colour pop. Why would you refuse to get the most of your eyeshadows? I think this product is versatile as it can also be used to cover imperfections such as spots and pimples. It can also make for a great concealer. I often use this product as an eyeshadow primer and to brighten up the inner corners of my eyes. I really feel like my eyeshadows do stay on longer and help the pigmentation in the eyeshadows stick to my lids often making the colour bolder and flawless looking.
What do I dislike about Stay Don’t Stray?
The only thing that I slightly dislike about this product is its applicator. I had tried this product before when the applicator was in the form of a pump lid. I would suggest that this made application slightly easier. As you only require a small amount of product – one pump was the correct amount for both eyes. A current applicator makes you applying the product straight to eyes making it easier to use a little too much. I guess the preferable applicator shape is only a little thing and may vary from person to a person. So not a big deal as long as the product performs fantastically!
Where can you buy Stay Don’t Stray?
You can purchase Benefit’s Stay Don’t stray, £20.50 at Benefit Kiosks that can be found in department stores across the UK. For example, I buy Benefit at Boots, so I can collect my advantage points and look for the offers!
