Hi guys, today I’d like to review a 100 Arched Powder brush by Real Techniques and also tell you why do I think it’s important to have good quality brushes in your makeup collection! So if you wondered why people spend money on brushes and don’t really know why to invest in one keep on reading.
My story with make-up brushes had started a long time ago when I took my first make-up class at the age of 13. Straight at the first class, the makeup artist showed me her collection of the brushes and explained why it’s that important to have a good collection and invest in your brushes. It was like a different World to me, because at the time I could only imagine drawing with brushes, but make-up? It became clear for me after a couple of classes that face is a canvas. And for the best image possible you not only need to have beautiful skin and high-quality makeup-up products, but also a solid set of brushes and imagination. So this is when I started to collect my brushes. I like to share with you my favourite brushes in the collection. Today I’m continuing with powder brush from Real Techniques’ Bold Metals Collection. Real Technique brushes are created by Pixiwoo – make-up artists and beauty Youtubers. (*I never miss any of their video!).
What is 100 Arched Powder Brush?
This powder brush helps to create flawless powder make up look, it’s designed for being used with powder products. First of all I loved the design of the brush and couldn’t wait to buy it. Boots always have offers on Real Techniques, so I was waiting for a discount to come to save some cash. (*haha, spend money, but save!) The design and weight of the brush is very ergonomic – pleasant to touch and distributes product evenly. The bristles are ultra soft and have a luxurious feel. It’s really a pleasure to use this brush!
How do you I use 100 Arched Powder Brush?
I use 100 arched powder brush to apply any of my powder-based products such as setting powder, illuminating/ highlighting powders, blushers, bronzers and powder foundations. I tend to use this brush simply for setting and illuminating powders when at home. When I go away/on holiday I only need to take this one brush for my entire powder collection. So this is how I use it on holidays – apply setting powder, bronzer, contouring powder, highlighter and a blusher in the end. I switch between 2 sides of the brush to make sure my colour products don’t get mixed with lighter products, such as setting powder and highlighter.
What do I like about 100 Arched Powder Brush?
I love how high quality this product is. The brush is ultra soft and allows my make up to glide on seamlessly leaving my make up looking flawless. It is the perfect brush for traveling and daily make-ups. I would recommend this brush to all my friends.
Where can I buy one?
All Real Techniques brushes are available from Boots. This is where I buy them as I have a loyalty card to collect bonus points. I appreciate that Boots has offers and always wait for a perfect time to purchase a product. 100 Arched Powder brush is available at the price £25 (£18.75 when on offer).
I hope you liked my review on this brush. Let me know if you have a big brushes collection and if you take them serious? You might also like to read my review on Zoeva en Taupe eye shadow brushes collection!
