Today I’m going to be sharing the outfit I would wear to Wimbledon 2016. Wimbledon is the oldest tennis tournament in the world and has been played since 1877, but you don’t have to wear uncomfortable corsets and hats to meet the dress code (amazing!). Think smart casual in order to put together one of the best Wimbledon outfits.
My choice of dress for Wimbledon 2016
This year I would go for a feminine casual dress. They are my favourite types of dresses, because nothing makes you feel more comfortable than natural fabrics whilst still being stylish. It’s great to show your elegance, especially if you are wearing flat shoes.
When it comes to a casual dress code, I like to still wear jackets, but relaxed ones. I suggest going for a natural soft fabric as well and loose fit. A perfect cotton jacket may be a thing you should consider adding to your wardrobe. I bought a khaki jacket because, the colour, style and length is very versatile and suits many occasions.

Simply because Wimbledon fashion stands for casual and comfortable, I suggest wearing sandals or any other shoes with no heels. Of course, you can wear heels and even high heels if you want. In my opinion, it may be a bit inappropriate and look too much.

Accessories to wear to Wimbledon
Accessories are my favourite part. Almost always no matter what the occasion and dress code are, jewellery is the thing you can get creative with! In summer 2016 I would go for accessories with semi-precious stones such as amethyst or agate.
I hope you have found my best Wimbledon outfit guide useful. Make sure to think about what to wear for such occasions in advance, so you don’t panic at the last minute!
