Best Tips on How to Choose a Right Bra Type

type-bra-should-wear

Do you know how to choose a right bra type for yourself? Do you always feel comfortable in the bra you are wearing? When was the last time you had a professional fitting to find the correct bra size for yourself? I believe that every woman deserves to be comfortable in her bra. A bra is almost your second skin. Ideally, you wear it every day and all day long. It is important to not only choose a correct size and fit of the bra but also to understand what type suits your breast shape the best. Whilst the fit is the most crucial aspect, I believe there are more things to consider when choosing a bra type you should be wearing. I will be telling you about all of them in this blog post.

Choose a Brand You Can Trust

Initially, it is important to find your perfect lingerie brand. For example, today I am proud to partner with Chantelle Group to bring you this ultimate guide on how to choose a right bra type. My mum, sister and I have been very loyal fans of Chantelle for many years. We appreciate the quality of the lingerie that Chantelle brings to the market. Moreover, I had a chance to meet Chantelle team about a year ago. Within a second I fell in love with the brand even more. Chantelle is a representation of the perfect lingerie brand for me. The quality of the products is exceptional. The variety of models and colours is very wide. The team is very professional and, finally, Chantelle Group is a family business with its history and traditions.

and stick to it!..

Since I wear a bra every day, it is essential for me to have a high-quality bra made of soft fabrics. Also, it has to be designed to support my bra. Luckily, Chantelle focuses a lot on the right fit. Their lingerie patterns are designed to provide the best fit and support for the breast. Chantelle’s fitting expert, Sandra explained to me once that a high-quality bra should be made of many little pieces and feel very light. Therefore, when choosing a lingerie brand for yourself, make some research. Go to the department store with a variety of brands and just spend some time analysing the lingerie sets available. Pay attention to the weight of the bra, fabrics it is made of, how many pieces the pattern is made of, what types of bras the brand brings to the market, where is it produced?

Decide for yourself what brand suits you and your style the best. Trust me, the life will be so much easier for you, when you know exactly where to go when looking for a new bra.

Find a Type of Bra You Should Wear

Every 6 month I get a professional fitting by the expert to check my bra size. With losing/gaining some weight, the shape and size of your breast are likely to change. Therefore, it is important to get fitted in-store, especially if you are going to buy a new set. Even though I shop mostly online these days for everything, I always go to the store when buying a new lingerie set. This is because before I got the professional fitting for the first time, I was wearing a wrong size. I was sure my size was 36B. Imagine how surprised I was to find out it was actually 32DD.

During the last fitting, I was recommended to look at the Intuition balconette bra from Chantelle. It is a seductive style suitable for every day. It comes in sizes DD+. This bra is crafted with tulle cups adorned with beautiful floral embroidery for a pretty touch. This breathable soft style offers uplift and support with underwiring and a flattering neckline. Designed with a stretch under band and fully adjustable straps for the perfect fit, fine lace trimming, and delicate bows lend an ultra-feminine flourish. I could not resist to completing my set with the matching briefs in a shorty.

Intuition bra provides me with a great support during the day. It is very light and perfect to wear underneath thin tops. I like that it covers my breast a bit more than the half-cup that I used to wear a lot. Visually this helps to create a nicer rounder shape of my breast thanks to the vertical seams on the cups. It is a great bra for all necklines.

Push-Up Bra vs Regular Bra

Of course, a push-up bra is a great innovation because it gives us ladies a lot of confidence. When deciding on a push-up bra, you have to think about structure, style, and use of the bra. Whether it’s for that special someone or just to boost your self-confidence. Push-up bras come in different shapes. The shape of the push-up bra you buy is based on the outfit you will wear with the push-up bra. this type of bra comes in many different styles. Some have lace, others beads, and others are plain. Push-up bras work best when you can’t tell you are wearing one. That means don’t wear an intricately designed bra underneath thin blouses and make sure the outfit you wear the push-up bra under is the right outfit for the bra.

Push-Up Bra

I think a push-up bra is a great type of bra for a night out or a date night. It gives you a more seductive look which is appropriate for an occasion.  I love Presage Lace Push-Up Bra from Chantelle. The soft cups of the bra have removable padding, making this a great style to go from day to night. It is essential for me to have an option. Presage gives you the option to wear a bra without a padding during the day. Isn’t great? The sexy plunging center can be worn with nearly any outfit. Although, it is perfectly designed to wear with a V neckline tops.

Regular Bra

One of the main benefits to wearing a regular bra is the support you get. A regular bra is what one would refer to as a brassiere, a female undergarment that is worn to support the breasts. In addition to support, a bra would also shape up the body, thereby giving it a firmer appearance. A regular bra is usually full-cupped, made with light fabrics such as cotton and often trimmed with lace or other materials that enhance its looks. It provides maximum support for the breast while covering the entire breast.

Bras are worn for comfort as well as for appearance purposes, but mostly a regular bra is worn for functional purposes. Support and to reduce bounce would be the topmost priority in a regular bra while providing maximum comfort to the wearer at the same time. Regular bras can be worn underneath loose fitting outfits for casual wear. I like C Chic Sexy plunge bra in jeans because it gives me all the benefits of the regular bra and looking gorgeous at the same time.

This Chantelle’s bestseller provides everyday lift and support, up to an FF cup. The deep plunging center and cups made of supportive signature jacquard are smooth under clothing, making this style easy to wear under anything. Angled seaming on the cups provide maximum lift and center the breast tissue, creating the look of a longer, thinner waist. Leotard or a U-shaped back helps to take weight off your shoulders for the ultimate comfort fit.

Sexy Lingerie to Keep Things Spicy

Finally, when you know, that it is essential to find your favourite lingerie brand and the correct size of the bra, it is time to get creative. I think it is important to have a couple of sexy sets of lingerie in every woman’s wardrobe. Not only your man will appreciate it but also it gives a lot of confidence to the ladies who is just looking for The One to impress. When choosing a bra for a special occasion, make sure it enhances all your best features. In my opinion, half cup bra is the best choice. It displays your breast a bit more whilst still being comfortable to wear.

I have always been curious about the Chantelle lingerie brand ever since I saw a cute set during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. I also spent many years wearing the wrong size, until I got properly sized by a professional. Question: how does their sizing compare to Victoria’s Secret? I really want to try this brand, especially now since you love it so much 🙂

It’s so important to have a comfortable but pretty bra to wear. I’ve certainly worn some dodgy cheap ones in my time. I don’t compromise anymore.

Couldn’t agree more that a bra is probably the single most important thing we wear. If it doesn’t fit correctly it can seriously stunt growth and cause so many problems in later life. Great informative post, glad you’re shedding light on such a sensitive topic for so many women!
